Senior IAM Consultant (Strategy & Advisory)

We are partnering with a specialist identity and access management advisory firm to find a Senior IAM Consultant to join their growing strategy practice. This is a rare opportunity to move beyond implementation and into high-impact advisory work with some of Australia's most prominent organisations.

The Role

This is not a purely technical position. This role is perfect for an IAM BA or consultant, looking to level up their career. You will work at the intersection of identity strategy and enterprise advisory, engaging directly with senior stakeholders to define problems, shape solutions, and influence how large organisations govern access at scale.

You will contribute to strategy engagements, service design, and the ongoing development of a mature IAM advisory practice - with genuine scope to grow your professional career.

Key responsibilities

• Lead IAM advisory and strategy engagements across a diverse enterprise client portfolio
• Engage and present to senior stakeholders, translating complex identity challenges into clear, actionable recommendations
• Drive outcomes across multiple concurrent projects, adapting to shifting priorities and environments
• Contribute to the evolution of the firm's IAM service offering and advisory capability

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of combined experience in cyber security and identity and access management
• IAM advisory capability - IGA is the primary focus; SailPoint experience is ideal.
• Exposure to customer identity, workforce identity, or CyberArk/PAM solutions
• Open to background in consulting or advisory roles - Big 4 or boutique firm experience
• Strong stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience navigating ambiguous, complex environments
• Proficiency with JIRA and structured delivery methodologies
