Design Coordinator - Developer

National, private and highly repsected development group, located in Hampton, are seeking an architect/ Project Architect keen to transition into a Design Manager position, overseeing aged care developments across Australia.

As part of the wider internal design development team, you will drive design whilst working with leading external architectural practices and a highly experienced internal team, this opportunity offers the chance to shape projects from early concept design through to delivery within a collaborative and design-led environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate architectural design deliverables across multiple aged‑care development projects
• Work closely with external architects, consultants, and internal teams through all project stages
• Ensure design excellence, regulatory compliance, and efficient delivery from planning to documentation
• Act as the liaison between development, interiors, and consultant teams to guarantee smooth project handover
• Review drawings, design documentation and consultant submissions to uphold project standards

Skills & Experience

• Around 10+ years’ experience as a registered or senior Architect
• Experience on large‑scale aged care, healthcare or mixed‑use projects is highly desirable
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and consultant coordination skills
• Enthusiasm for moving into, or advancing within, Design Management
• Revit proficiency beneficial but not mandatory
