As a Project Manager within the PMO, you will lead the delivery of cybersecurity and technology projects aligned to strategic objectives. Reporting to the Head of PMO, you will manage planning, coordination, and execution, working closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners.

You will manage multiple projects of varying size and complexity at the same time, including customer engagements and internal initiatives. This role provides exposure to modern cyber technologies and complex environments.

We are looking for a hands-on project manager who takes ownership, builds strong relationships, and drives delivery forward. Success in this role comes from a customer-first mindset, strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach to getting things done. This is not a purely ‘oversight project manager’ role. You are expected to step in where needed and stay close to the technical and delivery detail.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent projects of varying size and complexity, taking accountability for outcomes and ensuring positive feedback from customers and internal stakeholders
  • Manage multiple projects in parallel, balancing priorities, resources, risks, and delivery outcomes across customer engagements and internal initiatives
  • Take a hands-on role in delivery, contributing to planning, resolving issues, and stepping in where required to keep progress on track
  • Support pre-sales and early engagement activities, including input into scope, approach, and delivery planning
  • Drive delivery across the full lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered to agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication, including project status, financials, risks, and key decisions
  • Build strong relationships with customers, internal teams, and partners to enable effective collaboration and delivery
  • Maintain project governance, documentation, and reporting in line with PMO standards, while contributing to continuous improvement of delivery practices

Measurement Of Success

  • Stakeholder feedback: consistently achieving strong positive feedback from customers and internal teams on engagement quality, delivery approach, and outcomes
  • Timely Project Completion: Projects delivered within or before the designated deadlines
  • Financial Compliance: Projects executed within approved budgetary constraints
  • Scope Management: Effectiveness in maintaining project scope without significant deviations or scope creep
  • Project Health Monitoring: Detailed and accurate updates on project progress, risks, and issues
  • Governance Adherence: Compliance with PMO-established processes, templates, and documentation protocols
  • Continuous Improvement: Integration of insights from prior projects to enhance the execution of future initiatives

Essential

Key Experience & Capabilities:

  • 3+ years of project management experience, ideally in technology or cybersecurity-related fields with customer facing experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Prince2 Certification is advantageous.
  • Experience working in or alongside a formal Project Management Office (PMO)
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven experience in risk management, budgeting, and resource planning
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with a strong attention to detail

Desirable

  • Experience working in or owning responsibilities across business analysis, service delivery, pre-sales or change management, with a demonstrated ability to step outside of a pure PM role and add value across delivery
  • A Bachelor’s degree is desirable. It is not mandatory, however it demonstrates the ability to think critically, learn independently, and communicate effectively in written and structured formats
  • Agile certification (e.g., Scrum Master, SAFe) is a plus
  • Proficiency with project management tools, especially ServiceNow, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar
