Role Description

Senior Software Engineer (Developer) - EL1 Level

  • Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide

Technical skills

• Proficiency in multiple programming languages.

• Understanding of algorithms and data structures.

• Understanding of software development methodologies.

• Knowledge of databases and SQL.

• Familiarity with version control systems.

Senior Windows Engineer - APS6 Level

  • Edinburg

Mandatory Experience

  • Infrastructure Engineers implement, manage and retire the infrastructure (including physical, virtual, networking and cloud infrastructure) that supports digital services.
  • Develop and operate a windows server platform including Active Directory, DNS, PKI, remote desktop services and WSUS.
  • Design, test and deploy new versions of the Windows operating system; build and maintain system images and provide integration for VMWare.
  • Integrate and support management and security software and configurations.
  • Provide server automation.
  • Integrate with MFA solutions.
  • Implement regular checks to confirm system status, including hardware and software.
  • Develop and operate a backup and recovery service for virtualised Windows systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Windows issues.
  • Manage server migration when required.

RHEL Infrastructure Engineers - APS6 Level

  • Edinburg

Mandatory Experience

  • Cyber Threat Analysts need to understand cyber intrusion activities then use their research skills to provide reporting on threat modelling and intelligence.
  • Perform analysis of system security based on a threat-driven approach.
  • Analyse threat intelligence for system specific threats.
  • Monitor security events and information for security incidents.
  • Develop and use incident response plans and playbooks.
  • Analyse security vulnerabilities and propose solutions.
  • Review current system security controls for vulnerabilities.
  • Develop procedures to monitor and analyse security information and events.
  • Support, plan and conduct test and evaluation activities for deliverable systems and products.

Infrastructure Engineer - APS5 Level

  • Adelaide / Edinburg
  • 2 Positions

Mandatory Experience

  • Infrastructure Engineers implement, manage and retire the infrastructure (including physical, virtual, networking and cloud infrastructure) that supports digital services.
  • Assist in establishing new networks and the maintenance of existing networks.
  • Conduct troubleshooting activities under limited supervision.
  • Assist in monitoring and improving network performance
  • Install and configure systems and network infrastructure including LAN and WAN.

Infrastructure Engineers - APS6 Level

  • Adelaide / Edinburg

Mandatory Experience

  • Infrastructure Engineers implement, manage and retire the infrastructure (including physical, virtual, networking and cloud infrastructure) that supports digital services.
  • Monitor systems and infrastructure and address sustainment support requests, fix and troubleshoot issues.
  • Maintain and upgrade device software and firmware versions and create, implement and provide feedback to inform systems improvements for current and future design decisions.
  • Build functional, testable and scalable systems based on Detailed Design guidelines .
  • Integrate COTS network hardware and software to optimise its performance and functional intent.
  • Manage full lifecycle of a system - build, configure, administration and maintenance, security, racking and stacking, cabling and labelling and decommissioning.
