Salary range
$90,963.91 - $104,648.04 per annum pro rata dependent on skills, qualifications and experience.
Opportunity
The City of Albany’s Reserves Team is looking for an experienced and qualified and customer focused individual to take up the role of Reserves Officer.
Reporting to the Manager City Reserves, this role will see you responsible for but not limited to;
- Developing strategic, operational and environmentally appropriate management plans for City of Albany reserves;
- Providing advice and contributing towards the successful implementation of reserve management plans and strategies; and
- Manage budgets and reporting to achieve optimal service delivery and management of City of Albany reserves and assets.
About You: The successful candidate will have previous experience in the implementation of environmental management plans, will have a passion for bush regeneration projects and the ability to liaise with the community.
In addition, you will need;
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a role similar or associated with the planning and management of reserves.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or working towards.
- Previous experience in project management.
- General understanding of Asset Management.
- Sound computer skills with developed knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and working knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
