The role

As our Grounds & Maintenance Officer, you'll help maintain the presentation, safety and functionality of the village, supporting both outdoor spaces and built assets.

Your impact

• Maintain gardens, lawns and landscaped areas throughout the village
• Undertake planting, pruning, mulching, watering and general garden care
• Keep communal outdoor areas clean, safe and well-presented
• Complete general maintenance tasks and minor repairs across the village
• Respond to maintenance requests and safety matters in a timely manner
• Support the upkeep of village facilities and shared community spaces
• Build positive relationships with residents, contractors and team members

About You

You'll be practical, proactive and enjoy working across both grounds and maintenance activities.

You'll Bring

• Experience in groundskeeping, gardening, maintenance or a similar hands-on role
• The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• A reliable, self-motivated approach to work
• Physical capability to undertake outdoor and maintenance activities
• Basic computer skills

Highly regarded

• Experience in retirement living, schools, councils or community environments
• Gardening, horticulture, maintenance or trade qualifications
• Current driver's licence
