Curtin University is seeking an experienced
Project Manager to lead the delivery of People and Culture technology-enabled projects that support compliance, governance and organisational objectives.
This is a unique opportunity to manage complex projects that strengthen the University's compliance framework while delivering innovative technology solutions that improve employee experiences and business outcomes.
Working closely with People and Culture, Digital & Technology Solutions (DTS), senior leaders and external providers, you will play a critical role in ensuring projects are successfully delivered from concept through to implementation and adoption.
About the Role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, governance, delivery and successful implementation of People and Culture technology enabled projects, ensuring compliance obligations and legislative requirements are effectively addressed. You will act as the key interface between business and technology teams, managing multiple workstreams and stakeholders while ensuring projects remain on track, within scope and aligned to strategic priorities.
Your responsibilities
- Leading the delivery of People and Culture technology-enabled projects from initiation through to implementation and review.
- Managing project governance, planning, reporting, budgeting and risk management activities.
- Leading and coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring alignment between business and technical workstreams.
- Partnering with Digital & Technology Solutions and external contractors to deliver project outcomes and ensuring effective adoption into the University.
- Engaging and influencing senior stakeholders to drive project success and compliance outcomes.
- Monitoring project performance, milestones, dependencies, risks and issues.
Who we are looking for/Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale business and technology enabled projects.
- Strong project management, governance and stakeholder engagement skills.
- The ability to translate business requirements into practical and effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders.
- Experience managing project budgets, risks, vendors and reporting requirements.
- Knowledge of compliance, governance, HR systems or organisational change projects will be highly regarded.

- As this is a fixed-term contract, you will require current work rights in Australia that match the tenure of this role
