About The Role

We’re looking for a bright and motivated Sales Estimator to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone transitioning from drafting, design, or construction who’s ready to dive into the retail side of building. You’ll work closely with our Sales and Operations teams to prepare accurate retail cost estimates, tender documents, and variations, all while learning the ins and outs of pricing, margins, and supplier relationships.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Prepare tender documents and variations with clear, accurate descriptions
• Produce retail cost estimates with approved margins and markups
• Provide fixed site costs and support sales queries with timely, accurate responses
• Liaise with internal stakeholders including drafters, engineers, builders, and suppliers
• Read and interpret architectural and engineering plans
• Analyse documentation to estimate materials and labour
• Assess design changes and their impact on cost
• Contribute to business efficiencies and process improvements

What You’ll Bring

• 2+ years’ experience in the building industry, drafting, design, or construction background highly regarded
• Strong understanding of building terminology and construction processes
• Analytical mindset with a creative approach to problem-solving
• Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Intermediate computer skills (Excel, estimating software, etc.)
