Your new role
As the Manager – Compliance, you will be engaged to lead the uplift and enhancement of the organisation’s compliance framework. This role will focus on reviewing existing structures, identifying gaps, and implementing a more robust and consistent approach to compliance management.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders to strengthen compliance capability, embed improved practices, and ensure alignment with regulatory and legislative requirements. This is a hands-on role requiring both strategic oversight and practical delivery within a fast-paced environment.
- Lead the review, redesign, and uplift of the organisation’s compliance framework, ensuring alignment with best practice
- Identify and assess key compliance obligations, risks, and gaps across the organisation
- Develop and implement practical tools, processes, and guidance to support compliance maturity
- Provide expert advice and coaching to senior stakeholders to drive accountability and understanding of compliance requirements
- Deliver clear reporting and insights on compliance risks, breaches, and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with risk, legal, and operational teams to ensure a coordinated and consistent compliance approach.
- Support the embedding of a positive compliance culture across a complex, multidisciplinary environment
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in compliance, risk, or audit roles within complex organisations
- Demonstrated track record in delivering compliance framework uplift, transformation, or maturity improvements
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and partner with senior leaders
- Ability to operate autonomously and deliver outcomes within a short-term contract environment
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, law, commerce, or a related discipline (desirable)
