About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced

Hydraulic Fitter to join our team on a short-term contract. This role will involve maintenance, assembly, installation, and troubleshooting of hydraulic systems, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and repair hydraulic systems and components
• Perform routine maintenance and fault-finding on hydraulic equipment
• Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and technical drawings
• Diagnose system faults and implement effective solutions
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards and procedures
• Conduct testing and commissioning of hydraulic systems
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines

Requirements

• Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade) or equivalent
• Certificate IV in Engineering or related field (preferred/required)
• Proven experience working as a Hydraulic Fitter
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills

Desirable Skills

• Experience in marine, industrial, or heavy equipment environments
• High-risk work licenses (if applicable)
• Strong problem-solving ability

Contract Details

• Duration: 3 months
• Hourly Rate: $50 per hour
• Immediate start preferred
