Inventory Manager

A well-established Australian FMCG manufacturing company is seeking an Inventory Manager to join their team in Perth's southern suburbs. This role is central to ensuring raw material inventory accuracy and the smooth, high-volume flow of goods through a fast-paced production environment.

About the Role

This is a hands-on inventory role with full responsibility for raw materials management across a fast production operation. With materials coming in and out same day, accuracy and attention to detail are everything. You'll be the go to person for cycle counting, discrepancy investigation, and inventory integrity, working across SAP and several other systems. Coming in as an individual contributor, there is a genuine pathway into people management making it a great move for someone who wants to own their space and develop with the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day to day raw material inventory for production
• Conduct rigorous cycle counting and maintain inventory accuracy across all bin locations
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, understanding root causes and write-off drivers
• Work across SAP and multiple other systems to ensure data integrity
• Coordinate with inbound materials and warehouse teams to support smooth operations
• Prepare and analyse inventory reports to support operational decision making

About You

We're looking for a curious, detail-oriented inventory professional who takes pride in getting the fundamentals right, even when the work is methodical. You'll be comfortable asking questions, working through problems, and navigating complex systems in a fast-moving production environment.

You will have:

• Experience managing raw materials or bulk materials inventory
• Strong cycle counting and inventory reconciliation skills
• A problem-solving mindset with the ability to investigate discrepancies and identify root causes
• Strong ERP experience
