Senior Automation Test Engineer

Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Automation Test Enginee r with extensive experience in test automation, quality engineering, and software validation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and developing automation frameworks, executing end-to-end testing strategies, and ensuring the quality, performance, reliability, and scalability of complex enterprise applications. Experience within autonomous systems, mining, or safety-critical environments will be highly regarded .

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation testing frameworks for enterprise applications and systems.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, performance, reliability, and load testing activities across multiple projects.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to define test strategies, test plans, and quality objectives.
• Identify, analyze, and report defects while supporting root cause analysis and resolution throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Drive continuous improvement of test automation processes, frameworks, tools, and quality engineering best practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Automation Testing, Quality Assurance, and Software Validation.
• Strong expertise in test automation framework development using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, UFT, or similar technologies.
• Solid understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Test Management, Defect Management, and Quality Engineering practices.
• Experience in performance, load, scalability, and reliability testing using industry-standard testing tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with exposure to Agile and DevOps environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within Autonomous Haulage Systems (AHS), Mining, Industrial Automation, or Safety-Critical Engineering domains.
• Knowledge of AI-driven testing, intelligent automation, and advanced test automation solutions.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud-based testing environments.
• Experience with API testing, integration testing, and end-to-end automation strategies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics, Electronics, or a related technical discipline.
