National Planning & Inventory Manager

We're partnering with a leading national organisation within the automotive and mobility sector to recruit a National Planning & Inventory Manager.

Supporting millions of Australians through a large national network, this organisation is creating a brand new leadership role to drive inventory performance, planning capability and operational improvement. This is a rare opportunity to build and implement the planning framework, processes and governance that will shape the future of the function nationally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead national demand planning, replenishment and inventory management.
  • Develop and implement a standardised planning and inventory framework.
  • Improve stock availability, service levels and DIFOT performance.
  • Drive inventory optimisation, working capital improvements and inventory health.
  • Establish planning governance, reporting and forecasting processes.
  • Partner with Procurement, Operations, Finance and Engineering to improve supply chain performance.
  • Enhance planning systems, reporting capability and data visibility.
  • Lead inventory and planning transformation initiatives nationally.

About You

  • Proven experience in Inventory Planning, Supply Planning, Demand Planning or S&OP leadership roles.
  • Strong background improving or building planning processes and operating models.
  • Experience driving inventory optimisation and service improvements.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and change management capability.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to translate data into meaningful business outcomes and drive informed decision making.
  • Experience with ERP, WMS and planning systems.

Automotive experience is highly regarded, however candidates from FMCG, retail, industrial, distribution or other complex supply chain environments are encouraged to apply.
