Head of Analytics and Insights

As Head of Analytics & Insights, you'll lead the strategy, capability and delivery of analytics across HBF, helping senior leaders make smarter, data-driven decisions that improve member outcomes and support business growth.
You'll partner with stakeholders to uncover opportunities, solve complex challenges and transform data into actionable insights that shape HBF's future, shaping how data and analytics play a critical role in improving member experiences and create long-term value.
Leading a team of analysts and data specialists, you'll foster a culture of curiosity, innovation and continuous improvement while advancing HBF's analytics maturity and capability, on an 18 month contract basis.
Your day to day
- Leading HBF's analytics and insights strategy and roadmap
- Partnering with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities where data can create value
- Delivering meaningful insights, reporting and analytics solutions that influence decision-making
- Translating complex data into clear recommendations and business outcomes
- Building and developing a high-performing analytics team
- Driving data literacy and a stronger data-driven culture across HBF
- Identifying opportunities to leverage emerging technologies, automation and AI
- Collaborating across teams to embed analytics into business processes, products and services
About you
You're an experienced analytics leader who combines strategic thinking with strong commercial acumen and a passion for developing people.
You know how to turn complex data into compelling stories, influence stakeholders and drive meaningful business outcomes.
Whether you're shaping strategy, presenting insights to executives or mentoring your team, you're comfortable leading from the front and bringing others on the journey. You'll also bring:
- Proven experience leading analytics, insights or data science teams while developing capability
- Strong expertise in analytics, reporting, visualisation and statistical modelling
- Experience with tools such as Python, SQL, R, Tableau or similar
- The ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- A passion for innovation, continuous improvement and experience using AI for predictive modelling
