Real Estate Senior Associate (4–6 PQE)

Our client that is a leading international law firm, is seeking a Real Estate lawyer at the Senior Associate level to join its Australia practice in Melbourne. This is an opportunity to work within a team advising on complex property and land-related issues arising across major infrastructure, energy, corporate and investment transactions.

The practice acts for a sophisticated client base that includes developers, institutional investors, lenders, corporates and project sponsors. Working closely with the partners across state jurisdictions, you will advise on a broad range of real estate matters, including land access and tenure arrangements, property aspects of corporate transactions, leasing, acquisitions and disposals, and regulatory issues affecting major projects. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with lawyers across multiple practice groups and jurisdictions on cross-border matters.

About you:

• Admitted to practice in Australia
• 4–6 years' post-qualification experience in real estate or property law
• Experience gained at a reputable national or international law firm
• Strong understanding of Australian property law and land tenure issues
• Excellent academic credentials
