About the Role

This is a newly created, high-impact role for a commercially minded and design-savvy business development professional. As Business Development Manager — NSW, you will be responsible for identifying, approaching and converting commercial development and design opportunities across NSW, placing Florabelle Living products at the heart of some of the most exciting property and interiors projects in the state.

This is a proactive, outbound-led role. • Achieve agreed revenue targets, new client acquisition KPIs and pipeline benchmarks

Sector & Market Expertise

  • Develop deep knowledge of your target sectors — understanding procurement cycles, project timelines, specification processes and key decision-makers
  • Stay across the NSW commercial property pipeline — including DA approvals, build-to-rent announcements, aged care developments and major fit-out projects
  • Attend industry trade events, networking functions and design expos to build profile and generate leads

What We Are Looking For

Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a business development, commercial sales or account management role
  • Proven track record of proactive new business development — not order-taking, but genuinely hunting for opportunities
  • Experience selling into commercial sectors such as property development, interior design, aged care, hospitality, facilities management or building/construction
  • Exposure to homewares, furniture, décor, outdoor living, or related product categories is highly valued
  • Experience working with interior designers, architects or specification consultants is an advantage

Skills & Attributes

  • A natural relationship builder — warm, credible and persistent
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand project budgets, timelines and procurement processes
  • Confident presenter and communicator — able to pitch to a single designer or a developer's board of directors
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with a hunter mentality and the discipline to manage your own pipeline
  • Design-aware — you don't need to be an interior designer, but you need to understand and appreciate quality and aesthetics
  • Highly organised with excellent time management across a large territory and varied client base
  • Proficient with CRM tools, Microsoft Office and comfortable with digital communication
