PR and Social Media Coordinator

Honey Buzz PR is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join its team as a casual PR and social media coordinator for one to two days per week.
Based in our Melbourne office, you will work alongside our director to create content, manage social media accounts and support PR campaigns for clients across a range of industries – think food, fashion, technology, consulting, construction and more.
PR
- Identify aligned influencers and content creators for client campaigns
- Coordinate end-to-end gifting and influencer partnerships
- Assist with media list development and journalist research
Social media
- Assist with the implementation of social media strategies
- Film lo-fi video content for social media
- Edit lo-fi video content using CapCut
- Craft engaging social media captions
- Community management across social media platforms
- Assist with content planning, scheduling and publishing
Administration
- Maintain media and influencer lists
- Support client account management
- Assist with campaign reporting and project coordination
- General administrative support as required
About you
- You have studied (or are in your final year of studying) PR, marketing or journalism
- Previous agency experience is preferred
- You are a go-getter with a can-do attitude – we want you to take initiative and grow in your role
- You enjoy working in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment
- You consume the news every day and are always across the latest social media algorithm updates and trends
- You are confident creating content for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok
- You have strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
- You have excellent attention to detail
