  • Salary: MCH Yr3 + 10%, circa $130,000 per annum + super + monthly RDO

The opportunity

The Enhanced Maternal and Child Health (EMCH) Program operates as an extension of the Universal MCH Service, providing additional support to selected families.

As Team Leader, you will provide clinical leadership and coordinate the delivery of the EMCH Program in line with Department of Health standards. Acting as a key link with the Universal MCH Service, you will ensure an integrated, responsive and family‑centred approach while building strong partnerships with internal teams and external agencies.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and manage day‑to‑day operations and key Programs
  • Provide clinical leadership, supervision and guidance to the EMCH team
  • Ensure service delivery meets MCH guidelines and Department of Health standards
  • Monitor service quality, performance and compliance requirements
  • Oversee data reporting (CDIS) and support service planning
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures and service improvements
  • Support funding opportunities, projects and budget management
  • Step into a caseload during periods of high demand

What you need to succeed

  • Current registration as a nurse, midwife, and Maternal and Child Health Nurse with AHPRA
  • Demonstrated experience working in the Enhanced MCH Program
  • Strong understanding of child and family services, particularly supporting vulnerable families
  • Possesses skills or a strong drive to learn in relation to operations management, people leadership and budgeting
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external service providers

Pre-Employment Requirements

Progressed candidates will be required to complete a National Police Record Check, a Pre-Employment Medical Check & a Working With Children Check (WWCC). Candidates must also hold a valid Victorian Driver's License.
