The Rover - Sales / Warehouse Operator is a full-time position supporting nine
Gyprock Trade Centre stores across the Sydney metro area in New South Wales. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will join our Gyprock Trade Centre team and assist with deliveries of Gyprock to our customers as well as general warehouse duties.
In This Role You Will
- Travel between some locations across our nine sites in NSW.
- Provide exceptional customer service for all our customers (walk in, email and phone)
- To assist in the day-to-day activities within the store
- Processing orders, invoices and payments
- Maintaining high standards of displays and merchandising in our store.
- Serving customers in the warehouse part of the store, e.g. loading customers vehicles with a forklift or manually as required.
- Warehouse operations including picking orders, inventory counts and general housekeeping
- Assisting with running SAP reports.
Your standard working hours are Monday to Friday, between 6:00am and 4:00pm. Any hours worked beyond 38 hours per week will be paid at applicable overtime rates, including Saturdays, providing an opportunity to earn additional income.
About You
- Forklift licence and drivers' licence are essential.
- Experience in customer service or trade counter sales, preferably in the building or construction industry.
- Ability to handle sales transactions, process orders, and manage stock inquiries.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and basic computer skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy products as required (manual handling involved).
- A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong work ethic and commitment to safety procedures are essential.
- Flexibility in travelling to different stores each day, as required by the business.
