About the Traineeship

This is a 12-month traineeship within our Oral Health Team, providing you with the opportunity to gain practical experience while studying towards a nationally recognised Certificate III in Dental Assisting.

Throughout the traineeship, you will be supported and mentored by a team of experienced and qualified Dental Assistants who will train you in all aspects of the role.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Working chairside in one of our dental clinics
  • Assisting dental clinicians during patient appointments
  • Following infection prevention and control standards
  • Supporting instrument sterilisation processes
  • Assisting with reception and administrative duties
  • Supporting our Client Service Officers as required

What You'll Gain

A nationally recognised Certificate III in Dental Assisting

What You'll Need

  • A current Victorian Driver Licence (preferred but not essential)
  • A current Working with Children Check (Employee) or VIT Registration
