Primary objective
The Campaign Coordinator is a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional responsible for coordinating marketing campaigns from
concept through to execution for Tourism and Events NT. This role requires strong project management capability, exceptional
organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Develop and deliver integrated marketing campaigns that strengthen Tourism and Events NT’s brand presence and build long-term
engagement with new and existing tourism and event partners.
2. Plan and execute multi-channel marketing activity, including email, social, digital, print, and content-led campaigns to promote the
Territory’s tourism experiences and major events.
3. Collaborate with the broader marketing team to develop campaign strategies, objectives, and key messages aligned with Tourism and
Events NT's goals.
4. Support the delivery of partnership and event commitments, ensuring internal teams understand key deliverables, timelines, and
activation requirements.
5. Coordinate internal creative resources and external suppliers, including designers, copywriters, media, and production partners, to
produce high-quality collateral and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
6. Work closely with internal teams and event stakeholders to deliver marketing and partnership activations across Tourism and Events
NT’s event portfolio.
7. Communicate campaign updates and progress clearly and consistently to internal teams, event partners, and external stakeholders.
8. Ensure all marketing activity and promotional campaigns (including competitions) comply with relevant legislation, policies, and ethical
standards.
9. Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing, and proactive work environment through general support.
Additional Duties during Event Season
• During event delivery, support partnership activations by ensuring deliverables are met, signage is correctly placed, and branding is on
point. Assist in capturing content for social media and post-event reporting to showcase partner integration and campaign success.
Selection criteria
Essential
1. Demonstrated experience coordinating multi-channel marketing campaigns, including supporting planning, content development, and
execution across digital, social, email, and print.
2. Strong understanding of marketing principles and audience behaviour, and how different channels contribute across the consumer
journey.
3. Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the proven ability to manage multiple deadlines, stakeholders, and
suppliers in a fast-paced environment.
4. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to Tourism and Events NT’s brand tone of
voice and maintain high attention to detail.
5. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, industry partners, and event
stakeholders.
6. Ability and willingness to work outside normal working hours including public holidays and weekends as and when required to support
events delivery.
Desirable
1. Knowledge and understanding of the Northern Territory tourism and events industry, including major players and relevant
stakeholders, or the ability to obtain such knowledge quickly.
2. Tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing, tourism and/or other related discipline.
