About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Property Management, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of commercial and retail properties. You will focus on delivering exceptional service to clients while identifying opportunities to grow the portfolio through business development activities.

This role is ideal for an experienced commercial property professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building strong client relationships and is passionate about the commercial real estate industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial and retail properties
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants
  • Oversee lease administration, compliance, maintenance, and tenancy matters
  • Deliver proactive property management advice and solutions
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities
  • Contribute to the ongoing growth and improvement of the Property Management division

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A minimum of five years’ experience in commercial property management
  • Sound knowledge of the Retail Leases Act, relevant property legislation, and industry best practices
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
