Position Overview

Blue Sky Community Services is seeking a part-time Administration Assistant to join our Operations team commencing immediately. We are looking for a professional and values‑aligned individual to join our supportive and friendly team and contribute to high-quality customer service.

The Administration Assistant will work from our Peterson Road office in Coffs Harbour, up to 28 hours per week. The position is offered on a fixed‑term basis until 30 June 2027.

This position is graded at level 2.1 ($34.58) to 2.4 ($37.73) of the SCHADS Award.

The Administration Assistant Will

  • Provide high-quality administrative support including meeting coordination, travel arrangements, document preparation, and minute-taking
  • Deliver excellent front-of-house customer service, including welcoming visitors, managing sign-in processes, and assisting clients with enquiries professionally and confidentially
  • Manage communications effectively, including answering phones, responding to emails, and forwarding messages in a timely and professional manner
  • Coordinate office operations and logistics, such as booking appointments, setting up meetings, maintaining calendars, and organising catering and travel
  • Maintain accurate records, registers, and databases, including vehicle registers, asset tracking, archiving, and general documentation
  • Support general office management, including monitoring supplies, ordering equipment, maintaining office tidiness, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
  • Assist staff and projects with administrative tasks, including research, data collation, appointment coordination, and support for program or project activities
  • Identify and respond to administrative needs proactively, using initiative to manage tasks independently and escalate IT or operational issues where required.

About The Operations Team

Our Operations team provides support to the whole organisation across all operational areas and plays a crucial role in supporting various functions, including (but not limited to) admin, logistics, IT, safety and risk management, and overseeing our organisational vehicles.

The Recruitment Process

Stage One: Application Assessment Stage

Stage Three: Further Information Gathering Stage
