About the role
This is a hands-on Financial Controller role for someone who enjoys improving how finance works. You will lead a small team, strengthen reporting, cash flow, controls and planning, and help move finance from manual reporting to faster, more useful commercial insight.
Duties
- Lead month-end, management reporting, commentary and analysis
- Own budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and working capital
- Improve finance systems, automation, controls and data quality
- Lead, coach and develop a small finance team
- Partner with leadership on performance, growth and decisions
Skills and experience
- CPA/CA qualified or equivalent senior finance experience
- Financial Controller or senior Finance Manager background
- Strong Excel, systems, reporting and process improvement capability
- Experience in service-based, project or multi-site environments preferred
- Commercial, hands-on and comfortable in a fast-moving SME
