What you’ll be doing

• Managing the design process from pre-construction/tender phases right through to project delivery.
• Collaborating closely with project managers, site teams, clients, and external consultants to ensure buildability.
• Driving value engineering initiatives to optimize project outcomes without compromising on architectural integrity.
• Mitigating design risks and ensuring strict compliance with building codes and standards.

What we’re looking for

• Proven Track Record: Solid experience as a Design Manager (or Senior Design Coordinator ready to step up) within the Australian commercial construction market.
• Tier 1/2 Experience: A strong background working with a reputable commercial builder on projects valued at $50M+.
• Qualifications: A degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• The Essentials: Exceptional communication skills, sharp commercial acumen, and the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
