We’re now entering an exciting new growth phase with the launch of our TCG marketplace, creating a modern destination for collectors and players to discover, buy, and sell cards.
As we scale, we’re looking for a senior marketer who can take ownership of growth initiatives, build impactful campaigns, and help establish Game Locker as the leading technology and marketplace brand within the TCG ecosystem.
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Digital Marketing Specialist to own and drive marketing outcomes across our B2B software platform and consumer marketplace.
This is a hands-on senior role suited to someone with 5+ years of digital marketing experience who is comfortable moving between strategy and execution. You’ll be responsible for planning and delivering campaigns, managing channel performance, driving acquisition and engagement, executing events, and helping shape the overall growth strategy of the business.
Reporting directly to our Head of Sales and Marketing, you’ll have significant autonomy and accountability for marketing performance while helping build a category-defining brand within one of the world’s fastest-growing hobby industries.
What You’ll Own
Campaign Strategy & Execution
- Own the end-to-end planning, execution, and optimisation of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, events, and community channels.
- Develop campaigns that drive awareness, customer acquisition, platform adoption, retention, and revenue growth.
- Manage campaign calendars and launch schedules across multiple products and audiences.
- Continuously analyse performance and identify opportunities to improve ROI and conversion outcomes.
Digital Growth & Demand Generation
- Own paid media strategy and execution across Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
- Drive lead generation and customer acquisition initiatives for Game Locker’s store-facing platform and consumer marketplace.
- Partner with product and design teams to improve landing pages, conversion rates, and user journeys.
Content & Brand Leadership
- Lead the content strategy across social media, email, website, community, and video channels.
- Ensure brand consistency and messaging across all customer touchpoints.
- Identify opportunities to elevate Game Locker’s position as a thought leader within the TCG industry.
- Brief and coordinate creative assets with designers and external partners where required.
Events & Community Growth
- Own the planning, promotion, and execution of industry events, product launches, webinars, livestreams, and community initiatives.
- Build meaningful relationships with stores, players, creators, and industry stakeholders.
- Drive community engagement programs that strengthen brand advocacy and customer loyalty.
Reporting & Performance
- Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks across all marketing activities.
- Deliver regular performance reporting and actionable insights to leadership.
- Use data and customer insights to inform campaign strategy and investment decisions.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities within gaming, collectibles, and ecommerce.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, growth marketing, demand generation, or integrated marketing roles.
- Demonstrated experience owning and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns from strategy through execution.
- Strong experience managing paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as Meta, Google, LinkedIn, or TikTok.
- Proven ability to drive measurable business outcomes including lead generation, customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth.
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to balance creativity and performance.
- Experience analysing campaign performance and using data to inform decisions.
- Excellent copywriting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment.
- Fluent English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Bonus Points
- Experience marketing SaaS, marketplaces, ecommerce platforms, or technology products.
- Experience managing events, webinars, conferences, or community-led marketing initiatives.
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Asana, Discord, CRM platforms, and marketing automation tools.
- Experience working with gaming, collectibles, hobby, or enthusiast communities.
- Knowledge of SEO, lifecycle marketing, and conversion rate optimisation.
- Passion for trading card games and the broader collectibles industry.
