Your new role

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and compliance of building projects through expert design, analysis, and advisory services.

• Reviewing and assessing wet and dry fire protection system designs to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards
• Providing expert recommendations for improvement
• Conducting detailed analysis of fire engineering solutions to ensure functionality and compliance
• Reviewing and challenging proposed designs, identifying risks, and suggesting practical improvements
• Preparing comprehensive reports outlining findings and recommended design changes
• Providing technical fire safety advice to clients, stakeholders, and project teams

What you'll need to succeed

• To excel in this role, you will bring a strong technical background combined with excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of Australian and Queensland fire safety codes and regulations
• Ability to critically evaluate and improve fire engineering designs and performance-based solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing
• Relevant qualifications in fire engineering or a related discipline
