IT Transformation Project Manager (D365)

IT Project Manager role delivering CRM, portals & billing systems in a multi-stream government programme.

Your new company

You will be joining a Victorian Government organisation undergoing a significant, multiphase digital transformation. With a strong focus on modernising core platforms and improving service delivery, the organisation is investing in enterprise systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and digital platforms.

This is a 2-year fixed-term opportunity offering long-term programme stability within a high-impact transformation environment. You will report directly to the Deputy CIO and work closely with senior stakeholders across business and technology.

Your new role

As the IT Transformation Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering a complex D365 transformation program across multiple workstreams. This includes CRM, billing systems, digital/web platforms, and supporting infrastructure initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading end-to-end delivery of D365 and CRM projects
• Managing multiple concurrent workstreams within a broader transformation program
• Overseeing vendors, consultants, and cross-functional delivery teams
• Establishing governance frameworks, RAID management, and executive reporting
• Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including the Deputy CIO
• Supporting Agile delivery across scrum teams alongside structured project controls
• Driving disciplined, structured delivery across an evolving program environment

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience delivering D365 / CRM transformation projects
• Background in managing multi-stream digital or enterprise programs
• Experience working across CRM, billing systems, portals, or web platforms
• Strong vendor and stakeholder management capability
• Ability to work across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid environments
• Highly structured approach with strong governance, reporting, and planning skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage at executive level
