We are working with a leading advisory firm in Brisbane who are looking for a Senior Associate or Manager to join their Forensic Accounting team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to move into, or continue building their career in, disputes and valuations.

The team is primarily dispute advisory focused and the work is really varied, including contentious valuations, shareholder disputes, commercial loss and damage claims, insurance litigation, class actions, family law and estate disputes, expert determinations and accounting reviews.

It would suit someone who enjoys getting into the detail, working with financial information, thinking commercially and writing clear reports.

You do not need to have a forensic accounting background, as the firm is open to people from Audit, Business Services or Insolvency who are interested in moving into forensic accounting.

They would also be very interested in speaking to someone already working in forensic accounting at Senior Associate or Manager level who wants broader exposure, strong Partner access and a clear progression path.

Ideally you will have

• Public practice experience

• CA / CPA / CFA qualification, or be close to qualifying

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

• Strong written communication skills

• A genuine interest in disputes, valuations and forensic accounting
