Training Systems Supervisor
Location: Perth, WA
Contract: 12-month casual contract
Work Schedule: 9/80 (compressed work week – 9-hour days with every second Friday off)
Role Overview
The Training Systems Supervisor is accountable for the operational ownership, governance, and continuous improvement of training and competency systems across operations.
The role ensures training frameworks, job role profiles, and competency requirements are accurately executed within enterprise systems (e.g. CMS, Workday), while driving system integrity, data quality, and user experience.
Acting as the key point of accountability, the position partners closely with Training Advisors, Competency Assurance Specialists, and Operations leaders to support workforce capability and manage operational risk.
Key Responsibilities
Systems Ownership & Oversight
- Own training and competency execution within CMS, Workday, and reporting tools
- Supervise system support activities and ensure compliant execution of training pathways
- Maintain system configuration aligned to approved frameworks and operational needs
- Oversee system logic, standards, and back-office execution processes
Training Framework Execution
- Coordinate system build, validation, and rollout of new or updated training pathways
- Ensure assessment, equivalency, and credit pathways are accurately configured
Job Role Profiles & Training Needs
- Oversee development and maintenance of job role profiles in systems
- Translate training needs analysis into system requirements
- Ensure role-based training remains current and aligned to operational risk
Data Integrity, Reporting & Assurance
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of training and competency data
- Support reporting requirements for leaders and training teams
- Provide data and documentation for audits and assurance activities
Process Improvement & User Experience
- Drive continuous improvement in system processes and efficiency
- Promote a consistent and positive user experience across systems
- Monitor key metrics related to data quality and system performance
Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Provide coaching and guidance to system users and administrators
- Act as escalation point for complex system issues
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external providers
Governance & Documentation
- Maintain controlled documentation for training systems and processes
- Ensure alignment with governance, compliance, and competency standards
