THE ROLE

Twenty3 is seeking a highly motivated go-getter who has a passion for working in the events and sponsorship industry. This is a key role within Twenty3’s burgeoning Sponsorship & Events department. It’s a hands-on, multi-faceted role and the successful candidate will add value to the agency’s event-based capabilities and services to clients. You will have the responsibility of continuing the high standard of planning and execution of events and activations across some key client accounts. Events will vary from small to large-scale in nature; from corporate hospitality functions, sponsorship activations, experiential campaigns and conferences to hallmark sporting events and VIP launch functions. The position is suitable for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, can work in collaboration with a team but is just as comfortable working autonomously, and thrives on being exposed to a broad range of marketing and event disciplines.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Management of key client accounts
  • Event conceptualization and planning
  • Resource planning
  • Project management
  • Event operations (Management of budgets, production schedules, permits, risk & OH&S, AV, signage, staff and talent)
  • Post-event evaluation and client reporting
  • Support on brief responses for existing and new clients (ideas generation, creative).

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business / Marketing / Event Management / Sport Management are preferred.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a project management, brand marketing, events or sponsorship-related role.
  • Experience liaising with clients, customers, key stakeholders, industry suppliers / external vendors.
