Customer Engagement Specialist

• $50-55/hour inclusive of superannuation

You’ll work within a high-performing field marketing team, partnering closely with sales to deliver real impact across customer retention and growth.

The Opportunity

This role drives automated, 1-to-many customer engagement across the SMB lifecycle (onboarding, retention, expansion) to reduce churn and unlock growth.

You will design and execute data-driven lifecycle and PLG programs, using product usage insights and behavioural triggers to improve adoption, retain at-risk customers, and identify expansion opportunities. Working closely with sales, you’ll support renewal campaigns and deliver measurable impact across revenue retention, NNAOV, and product adoption.

Required Skills

• 4+ years’ experience in marketing, customer engagement, or digital campaigns
• Experience in lifecycle marketing, retention, or demand generation
• Understanding of PLG concepts (usage data, in-app/behavioural triggers)
• Experience with CRM / marketing automation tools
• Strong organisational, communication, and multitasking skills

Desirable Skills

• Experience with SMB customer segments
• Exposure to churn, retention, or renewal campaigns
• Familiarity with:
• Salesforce CRM
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud / Journey Builder
• Google Workspace
• Experience with product usage analytics or growth marketing
• Exposure to field marketing or events
