Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth across water infrastructure and utility markets
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new opportunities within pipeline rehabilitation, trenchless construction, and civil maintenance services
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with water authorities, local councils, government agencies, and major asset owners
  • Support the preparation of tenders, proposals, and client presentations to maximise contract wins
  • Monitor market activity, upcoming capital works programs, and procurement pipelines to identify growth opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with operational and senior leadership teams to align business development initiatives with strategic objectives
  • Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and client engagement activities

Requirements

  • Proven business development experience within water infrastructure, utilities, civil construction or asset maintenance sectors
  • Established network across water authorities, councils, government agencies or major infrastructure asset owners
  • Demonstrated success securing new contracts, panel agreements and long-term service arrangements
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management and negotiation skills
  • Commercially astute with experience supporting tenders, proposals and contract pursuits
