Your new role

  • Lead communication and engagement strategies for infrastructure and capital works, tailored to key audiences.
  • Develop clear, accessible content across the web, social media, newsletters, and community updates.
  • Coordinate internal communications to keep staff informed and engaged.
  • Plan and deliver community engagement activities, supporting stakeholder engagement as needed.
  • Manage media relations with the Media and Communications Coordinator, including releases and responses.
  • Monitor public sentiment, manage reputation risks, and respond to community enquiries and complaints.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Passionate about either construction or community engagement
  • Previous experience in a similar role or position
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and problem resolution skills
