Architect

PROEKT

At PROEKT, we believe the most beautiful design is the one that actually gets built. Based in Claremont, we've built our reputation on a feasible architectural philosophy. We don't design in a vacuum; we design for feasibility, constructability, and delivery.

We are looking for a Registered Architect (and actively seeking registration or accreditation) who understands that great architecture is a trifecta of design excellence, commercial viability, and collaboration.

PROEKT Difference: From Concept to Concrete

Where others stop at DA, our projects move. We specialize in navigating the delicate balance between aesthetic ambition and project delivery. Our portfolio spans medium density, high-end residential, multi-residential, aged care, child care, commercial and hospitality projects and are all united by one trait: they proceed.

In this role, you won't just be a designer; you will be a strategic partner and trusted team member to our clients.

The Ownership Mindset

We are seeking a practitioner who wants to own the outcome, not just the drawing. You will thrive here if you possess:

  • Commercial Acumen: You understand that a project's success is rooted in its feasibility. You design with an awareness of yield, budget, and market demands.
  • The Developer/Builder Dialectic: You enjoy the collaboration of working alongside developers and builders. You view site constraints and budget requirements as creative challenges.
  • Project Stewardship: You take accountability for the project lifecycle. From the initial feasibility study to the final handover, you are the technical and creative anchor.

Your Expertise

  • ABWA Registration: Current registration in Western Australia or actively seeking registration or accreditation.
  • Collaborative DNA: Experience working with builders and developers to ensure design intent survives the construction process.
  • Typology Versatility: A portfolio that demonstrates success across varied scales—from bespoke residential to complex multi-unit developments.
  • Technical Authority: High-level proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD and a deep understanding of the NCC and WA planning codes.
  • Revit Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Revit with demonstrated capability to manage complex architectural models and technical documentation.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum 6-8 years of post-graduation architectural experience demonstrating progressive responsibility and project delivery capability.

The Environment

Join a studio where your work has a tangible destination. We offer a high-autonomy environment, a culture that values decisive action, and the chance to lead projects that define the WA landscape.
