Across our residential services in Orange, you’ll play a key leadership role in supporting people experiencing alcohol and other drug challenges — delivering high-quality clinical care while guiding and supporting a multidisciplinary team.

About the Services

This role works across two residential programs in Orange, supporting people at different stages of recovery in a safe and caring environment.

Elouera

A women’s residential withdrawal and rehabilitation service supporting recovery from alcohol and other drug use, including for women with children under 12.

Wyla

A 20-bed residential withdrawal and rehabilitation service at the Bloomfield Hospital Campus, supporting adults to safely withdraw and begin their recovery journey.

Across both services, you’ll be part of a compassionate team creating a respectful and welcoming space.

Your opportunity

As a Clinical Nurse Lead, you will provide specialist clinical nursing practice alongside leadership and supervision to support the delivery of high-quality AOD services.

You’ll work closely with the Team Leader and multidisciplinary team to:

  • Deliver advanced clinical care across withdrawal and residential programs
  • Lead clinical decision-making and ensure evidence-based practice
  • Support and mentor nursing and clinical staff
  • Contribute to service development, quality improvement and clinical governance

This is a role where your clinical expertise and leadership will directly shape service delivery and client outcomes.

What we are looking for

We’re looking for a confident and experienced clinical leader who brings both strong nursing capability and a collaborative approach.

You will bring:

  • Advanced clinical knowledge in mental health and/or alcohol and other drugs nursing
  • Experience managing complex clinical presentations and caseloads
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise and support multidisciplinary staff
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise across services and stakeholders
  • A commitment to culturally safe, inclusive and person-centred care

What you will need

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Experience in clinical leadership and/or supervision of health professionals
  • Ability to work flexibly in a residential setting and respond to clinical incidents
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications (desirable)
  • Current driver’s licence and ability to meet pre-employment checks
