What you will do

As Senior Advisor - Environmental Management, you will provide expert environmental advice across the department.

You will help deliver practical solutions that improve sustainability and support safe, compliant infrastructure.

You will:

  • develop and deliver an ISO14001-compliant environmental management system
  • provide specialist advice on sustainable land management and environmental approvals
  • support environmentally sustainable design for infrastructure and capital works projects
  • oversee critical environmental compliance requirements across operational activities
  • deliver evidence-based projects, policies and strategies that improve environmental outcomes.

About you

You must hold an appropriate tertiary qualification in environmental science, environmental management or a related discipline.

You should also have:

  • strong knowledge of ISO14001 requirements and environmental sustainability practices
  • demonstrated expertise in Victorian and Commonwealth environmental legislation
  • proven experience managing environmental compliance for projects and government land assets
  • sound judgement, adaptability and commitment to continuous improvement.
