What you will do

As Senior Coordinator, Assurance and Secretariats, you will strengthen governance and assurance across the department.

You will support committees, portfolios and entities to meet their obligations with confidence and consistency.

You will:

  • deliver high-quality secretariat support to key assurance forums
  • coordinate governance activities and reporting across committees and portfolios
  • drive continuous improvement of processes, systems and tools
  • provide trusted advice and practical guidance on governance requirements
  • maintain accurate oversight of actions, documentation and assurance outputs.

About you

Relevant tertiary and/or industry qualifications are desirable. Experience in governance, assurance and secretariat functions will be highly regarded.

You should also have:

  • demonstrated experience supporting governance and assurance in complex organisations
  • proven ability to provide high-quality secretariat support to boards and committees
  • sound understanding of regulatory, ethical and procedural requirements for specialised governance forums
  • strong critical thinking, adaptability and commitment to continuous improvement.
