AI Engineer (GCP)

Nuage is partnering with a transport and logistics business that's building out its AI capability from the ground up. They are focused on streamlining operations and decision-making across the network.

They are looking for an AI Engineer with strong hands-on experience across GCP and Vertex AI to help shape and deliver real-world AI use cases, not just proof-of-concepts sitting in a lab.

What you'll be doing

• Designing and building AI/ML solutions on Vertex AI to support logistics and operational use cases
• Working closely with the business to translate operational problems into practical AI solutions
• Building scalable, production-grade models and pipelines on GCP
• Helping establish foundational patterns and practices as the AI function matures

What they're looking for

• Strong hands-on experience with Vertex AI and the broader GCP AI/ML stack
• Proven experience taking AI solutions from concept to production (not just POC)
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, still-forming AI function

This is a hybrid role onsite in Sydney two days a week, and is a Day Rate contract opportunity.
