Data Migration Analyst

Well Established state government organization is looking for an experienced Data Migration Analyst

Hybrid working model | initial contract for 6 months + possible extensions | $600 + super

About your organization

You will be part of a well established state government organization within the health sector.

Your new role

• Guide, support and monitor the delivery of the Data Migration workstream to achieve successful implementation
• Working with the program technical leads, plan, lead, and execute technical activities required to migrate data from the department’s legacy system.
• Working with the Testing Team, assist in the development of the testing strategy, ensure technical dependencies have been met and support solution testing activities and defect management to ensure the quality and fitness for purpose of the Data Migration approach.
• Planning and Coordination: Develop and manage the data migration plan, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
• Data Mapping: Define and document the mapping of source data to target systems.
• Data Cleansing: Ensure data is cleaned and transformed to meet the requirements of the target system.

Qualifications and Mandatory Requirements

1. Demonstrated experience (minimum 5 years) in delivering end-to-end data migration activities within complex

project environments.

2. Desirable: Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and Employee Central Payroll.

3. Desirable: An understanding of Chris21 payroll systems and associated data structures.

4. A tertiary qualification in business, information technology, data analytics, or a related discipline is desirable Advanced technical skills in interpreting, manipulating and transforming data using Excel, SQL and other data

analysis and migration tools, across ERP, HCM, SCM, Procurement, and Finance data domains.

5- Demonstrated experience in leading and executing data testing and validation activities, including migration rehearsals, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-migration validation, to confirm data completeness, accuracy and integrity.

6. Demonstrated experience in applying data governance and assurance controls, including data quality management, privacy and traceability and audit requirements to support business validation and formal sign-off.
