Site Supervisor / Foreman

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Site Supervisor / Foreman to join a well-established Tier 2 head contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex, high-quality projects across multiple sectors.

With a strong pipeline of upcoming work, this role will see you take ownership of major projects from commencement through to completion, working alongside an experienced project team to ensure successful delivery.

The Role

As Site Supervisor / Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day site operations and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with the Project Manager, subcontractors and the broader project team, you will play a key role in driving programme outcomes and fostering a positive site culture.

Ideally, you'll have experience delivering projects through the full construction lifecycle – from early site establishment through to commissioning, practical completion and defects.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily site activities and subcontractor performance.
• Drive programme outcomes and ensure works are delivered in line with project milestones.
• Maintain a strong focus on site safety, quality and compliance.
• Conduct site inspections and proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact delivery.
• Liaise closely with project stakeholders, consultants and the internal project team.
• Lead by example, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Ensure all works are completed to specification and in accordance with project documentation.
• Support project handover, commissioning and defect management activities.

About You

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or Foreman with a Tier 1, Tier 2 or reputable head contractor
• Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale construction projects valued at $50M+.
• Exposure to commercial, mixed-use and/or healthcare projects is highly regarded.
• Experience managing projects through the full construction lifecycle.
• A trade background is strongly preferred, providing practical, hands-on construction knowledge and credibility on site.
• A hands-on leader who enjoys being actively involved in the day-to-day running of projects.
• Proactive, solutions-focused and highly attentive to detail.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A genuine team player who contributes to a positive and collaborative site culture.
• Sound understanding of construction methodology, safety legislation and quality requirements.
