An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced people leader to join on a full time, permanent basis as an engineering manager. This role will see you provide leadership of the system engineering team, managing and fostering the team to all aspects.

Medical experience is highly regarded but not necessary, I am looking for the right mindset and personality, not the right resume.

Responsibilities

• Leading the team in achieving goals of long term asset safety, reliability and availability by ensuring the designs, procurement and repairs meet these goals.
• Establishing and maintaining a constructive culture in the team by demonstrating, modelling, and utilising appropriate leadership behaviours, techniques and systems.
• Setting performance measures and plans to improve the performance of direct reports, and support the team and their individual growth.
• Identifying and implementing continuous improvements for inefficient work processes to increase the productivity of the team or wider business processes.
• Delivering accurate and timely reporting on the teams productivity and issues arising in a proactive and timely manner and provide control strategies where required.
