An exciting opportunity has become available within Investigation Support Branch (ISB) to undertake the role of Administration Coordinator.
The ASO3 Administration Coordinator role plays a critical part in contributing to the efficient and effective business and administration operations of ISB. The successful candidate will ensure the efficiency of administrative services by managing human resource, records management processes, finance, fleet, travel, budget management and invoicing.
Special Conditions
- The incumbent will be subject to a criminal history check and is required to be eligible for and maintain a National Security Clearance to a minimum of Negative Vetting Level 1 (SECRET).
- The incumbent must complete a PD254 ‘Statement of criminal associations or relationships’ outlining the nature and circumstances of the association (if any) for approval.
- The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.
- The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL’s iEngage program.
Requirements
- Proven experience using HR systems or similar data entry platforms to accurately input data, generate reports, and demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels and deliver a high standard of service.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and coordinate the work of others, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to deadlines.
- High level of integrity with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality, exercise tact, and handle sensitive matters discreetly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to review practices and recommend practical improvements.
- Sound knowledge and experience in budget preparation, financial monitoring, and interpretation of financial reports.
- Experience in managing physical assets, including fleet, facilities, records, and building maintenance.
- Comprehensive understanding of HR principles, government policies, and procedures, including equity, diversity, and occupational health and safety.
Salary
ASO3 - $71,589 - $76,033 per annum.
