The Opportunity

A Snapshot Of What You Will Be Doing Here

  • Support qualified mechanics with repairs and servicing of vehicles and equipment.
  • Perform basic welding tasks with attention to quality and safety.
  • Previous experience with Basic Mechanics & Vehicle Servicing.
  • Assist with rolling stock maintenance and repair.
  • Handle spare parts: receiving, stocking, pickup, and delivery.
  • Pack and issue freight deliveries.
  • Maintain workshop and yard cleanliness and equipment upkeep.
  • Support store duties and general workshop tasks.
  • Promote a safety-first culture.
  • Work with a wide range of specialised Ground Support Equipment (GSE).

Who We're Looking For

  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn and develop.
  • Welding experience - highly regarded.
  • Previous mechanical experience – desirable.
  • Manual “C” class driver’s license (required).
  • MR license and forklift certificate – desirable.
  • A strong focus on safety standards and relevant company policies & procedures.
