Role: Workato Integration Developer

Location: Sydney, Australia

Total Experience: 6+ Years

Relevant Experience: 3+ yrs

Duration: 12+ months

JD:-

• Design and develop Workato integrations (recipes)
• Build end-to-end workflows across SaaS and on-prem systems

o REST / SOAP APIs

o Webhooks

o File-based integrations

• Perform data mapping, transformation, and orchestration
• Configure triggers, actions, and business logic
• Monitor and troubleshoot integration failures
• Optimise integrations for performance and scalability
• Collaborate with business stakeholders for requirements
• Ensure security, governance, and compliance standards
• Maintain technical documentation and reusable components

Skills & Experience

• 3+ years in integration / middleware development
• Hands-on Workato (or similar: MuleSoft, Boomi, SnapLogic)

o APIs (REST, SOAP)

o JSON / XML

o Event-driven architecture

• Basic scripting (JavaScript / Python)
• Strong debugging + problem-solving

Typical Tech Stack

• Workato (recipes, connectors, automation)
• APIs (REST/JSON, SOAP/XML)
• Cloud apps (Salesforce, Workday, etc.)
• Databases / SQL
• CI/CD + DevOps (in mature setups)
