Project Lead, Wealth/Asset Management
Parity Consulting
The Company
Our client is a prominent financial services organisation with a well-regarded presence across both asset and wealth management. They are currently executing a significant business transformation and are seeking a capable project professional to join a programme that is well into its delivery phase, with a clear plan and a committed team in place.
The Opportunity
This is a contract opportunity based in Sydney for an immediately available Project Lead to take ownership of a key workstream within a large-scale business separation programme. The planning is done and the path is clear. What is needed now is a focused, delivery-oriented professional who can keep the team accountable, manage stakeholders with confidence, and ensure every milestone lands on time. The contract runs through to November, with a minimum of three days per week in the office expected.
Key Accountabilities
- Drive the day-to-day delivery of a complex workstream, tracking progress across a large volume of collateral updates and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks
- Coordinate closely with marketing, brand, digital, legal, risk, compliance, and HR stakeholders, facilitating working group check-ins and keeping senior leaders informed through clear, regular status reporting
- Oversee the separation and cloning of digital assets including websites and intranet, working alongside a dedicated website SME and digital team to ensure all activities proceed to schedule
- Manage the identification and implementation of entity and disclosure document changes across regulatory and non-regulatory collateral, liaising with experienced disclosure managers already embedded in the programme
- Proactively identify and resolve blockers, manage cross-stream dependencies, and ensure BAU teams remain focused and accountable to programme timelines
Ideal Experience
- Demonstrated project management experience within financial services, with a solid understanding of how asset management or wealth management businesses operate
- A proven ability to manage delivery in complex, multi-stakeholder environments, holding teams accountable and maintaining momentum through the final stages of a programme
- Confidence engaging with senior executives across legal, compliance, marketing, and digital functions, communicating clearly and maintaining trust across the business
- Exposure to product disclosure documents, regulatory collateral, or brand and digital projects within a financial services context is highly regarded
- Prior experience within a divestment, separation, or transformation programme is a genuine advantage, though the most critical attributes are delivery focus and financial services credibility
Why Apply
- Join a programme that is in strong shape, with clear deliverables, an experienced team, and decisive leadership that values getting things done
- Work in an environment where your contribution will be visible, meaningful, and immediately felt across a high-profile business transformation
- Secure a contract through to November with a reputable organisation, working alongside senior professionals who are invested in your success and the programme's outcome
