One of our State Government Clients is seeking to engage a Customer Support Officer

  1. Contract Duration: 06 Months initially with possible extension
  2. Work Location: Goulburn - (Purely Office based) - NO REMOTE
  3. Eligibility: You must need to have either Australian Full Working Rights / Permanent Residency / Australian Citizenship
  4. Tentative Start Date: ASAP
  5. Budget: $35 -40 per hour (Inc Super)

Role Description

A State Government Department is seeking a Support Officer to provide customer service and administrative support within a service-focused environment. The role requires a customer-centric approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to work across multiple systems while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a customer service, contact centre, service centre, shared services, corporate services, or managed services environment.
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to build rapport, understand customer needs, and deliver effective service.
  • Ability to quickly learn and implement new processes and procedures.
  • Experience using multiple systems simultaneously and adapting to new technologies.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Touch typing skills with a minimum speed of 40 WPM and 85% accuracy.
