About the Role

Green Light is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a large‑scale migration and transformation program within a complex enterprise environment.

The Business Analyst will act as the primary conduit between technical delivery teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that migration activities are data‑driven and aligned with organisational objectives. This role is critical in driving clarity across application requirements, workload readiness, and migration planning to ensure successful execution across the migration pipeline.

You will work closely with application owners, infrastructure teams, and project leadership to assess workloads, define treatment strategies, and maintain alignment between business priorities and technical delivery.

Note: Australian Citizen with AGSVA NV1 or NV2 required

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between technical delivery teams and business stakeholders
  • Lead proactive engagement with application teams to gather requirements and assess workload readiness
  • Ensure alignment of application readiness prior to scheduling in the migration pipeline
  • Define appropriate treatment plans (e.g. migrate, redeploy, redesign, or decommission)
  • Maintain and manage the Workload Migration Schedule, ensuring alignment with: Business criticality, Workload complexity, Resource availability
  • Support strategic planning and prioritisation of migration activities
  • Consolidate business and technical requirements into clear, actionable documentation
  • Ensure effective communication of requirements and plans across stakeholders
  • Provide input into migration governance, planning, and execution frameworks

Required Skills & Experience

  • Australian Citizen with AGSVA NV1 or NV2 required
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within transformation or migration programs
  • Strong experience working across infrastructure, application, or cloud migration initiatives
  • Ability to assess and analyse virtualised workloads and application dependencies
  • Strong understanding of workload treatment strategies (migration, redeploy, redesign, decommission)
  • Experience managing or supporting migration schedules or delivery pipelines
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Strong documentation skills with the ability to translate technical requirements into business‑friendly outputs
  • Ability to work across both technical and business domains effectively
  • Experience working in large, complex, or regulated environments.
