Position Title: Head of Marketing

This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of a marketing function inside a fast-scaling national home services business and help build it from a $2M to a $10M+ operation.
The business is a founder-led home services company operating across multiple Australian cities, with national expansion actively underway. Revenue sits at $15M to $20M annually, lead generation at approximately 10,000 leads per year, and the ambition is to 10x both over the next five to seven years. Until now the founder has personally led marketing alongside external agencies. That changes with this hire.
This is not a brand or comms role. This is a hands-on growth and lead generation role for someone who is commercially wired, fluent in paid media, and ready to take ownership of something significant.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own marketing performance across all major channels with a primary focus on lead generation, cost per lead, and ROI
- Manage and optimise Google Ads campaigns, landing pages, and conversion performance
- Oversee SEO, Google Business Profile growth, and website conversion improvements
- Coordinate social media, email, SMS, video, and offline marketing campaigns including direct mail and future radio and TV
- Build marketing systems, SOPs, reporting dashboards, and campaign processes
- Track and report on KPIs including lead volume, cost per lead, channel performance, and overall marketing ROI
- Reduce reliance on external agencies by building internal capability over time
- Recruit, develop, and lead a growing internal team of local Australian specialists and offshore support
- Work directly with the founder to shape strategy and support national expansion into new cities
What You Bring
- 3+ years managing and optimising Google Ads, PPC, and lead generation campaigns with measurable results
- Strong conversion optimisation experience across landing pages and digital funnels
- Solid grounding in SEO and paid search
- Strong analytical and reporting capability — you are comfortable in the numbers and know how to use data to make decisions
- A hands-on, problem-solving mindset with genuine ownership mentality
- Leadership potential and a desire to build and grow a team, not just manage campaigns

- You have scaled lead generation significantly in a previous role and can speak to the specific levers you pulled
- Experience in home services, trades, or a similarly local, high-volume lead generation environment
