Legal Manager - Fintech | Non-bank Lender

Our client is a non-bank lender / fintech company who is seeking a legal manager to oversee and manage the legal and compliance function during a period of digital transformation and growth.

This is a senior leadership role with broad influence across the business. You will lead legal strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide commercial guidance in a fast-paced, and regulated fintech environment

This role will provide key legal advice on our client’s non-bank lenders products ranging from SME lending to asset finance, will negotiate high-value vendor agreements and partnerships, provide legal sign-off on new products, offerings, and distribution channels and will determine the organisation’s legal position on material disputes and litigation.

This role will also advise on regulatory compliance interpreting new and evolving legislation and guide its application across our client’s organisation.

Applicants should have suitable experience across non-bank lending products, fintech or asset finance, SME lending. Applicants from consumer and retail banking are encouraged to apply if they are interested in transitioning into this sector.
